The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

Bragging Rights - For the Kings or the Lakers?

No, we are not talking NBA basketball here.We are talking about bragging rights for catching the big King Salmon or the big trophy Lake Trout that came aboard the Milky Way on Sunday, August 24th.And the Ben Pate fishing crew did not mess around as they hauled aboard their limit of Lake Trout along with 4 mature King Salmon. One of the lunker Lakers tipped the scales at 21 pounds which is huge by anyone's standard. Lakers in the 20 pound class are considered a trophy fish and are worth bragging about! Once again, this great group of guys made for a great day of fishing on Lake Ontario!

On Thursday, August 21st, another multiple corporate charter trip was run by Milky Way Fishing charters. On this 2 boat trip (assisted by Saiffs), the Gold Star Feed & Grain crew were able to get their limit of Lake Trout while enjoying a beautiful summer day out on the Lake.
