The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

The Lake Trout Keep Coming!

The Marvin Widrick party chartered the Milky Way on Sat., Aug. 13th. Even though they had to come in to port to dodge a thunderstorm or two and then go back out, the fishing crew managed to get their limit of our bread and butter fish, the Lake Ontario Lake Trout! Although the weather did not cooperate fully, the Lake Trout did to make for another successful day of fishing aboard Milky Way Fishing Charters!

A Pair of Kings Trump the Day!

On Wednesday, July 20th, Al Montanino returned to Lake Ontario again this year, with his grandson, Johnnie, to fish aboard the Milky Way. The day started out perfectly with the first catch of the day being a big King Salmon by Al's grandson, Johnnie.

Lake Trout Limit Includes 24 lb. Lake Trout!

On Tuesday, July 12th on a hot , hot day on Lake Ontario with the seas starting to build, the Lee Kirkpatrick party had a good day fishing resulting in limiting out on Lake Trout! But the highlight of the day was the 24 1/2 lb. Lake Trout that was hauled aboard by George!
