Two Days of Fishing Results In One Great Day and One Not So Great!
On Sunday, Aug. 23rd, Marc Albano with his fishing buddies and long-time friends of the Milky Way, Matt, Butch and Greg wanted to once again try their hand at fishing the big fish in Lake Ontario. Having caught their limit of Lakers, including a 19 pounder, the day was coming to an end when, as luck would have it, the line popped and a big fish was on! It turned out to be a big mature King landed by Marc! This is a pretty good way to end a day of fishing!
Day 2 on Mon., Aug. 24th turned out to be a day we would like to forget about. Concentrating on the Kings, they just would not come. As it turned out, that tended to be the norm for the day and even the Lake Trout had to be worked on hard for the charters that went for them. We would rather not mention days like this, be as a fisherman, you know that this can happen and we want to be up front and honest about our charters. But Marc and company has fished with us for many years, and did rebook for the same time next year! We appreciate fishermen like this that know on rare occasions, it turns out to be "fishing" and not "catching!"
This is a very enjoyable group of guys and we are looking forward to having them come aboard next year!
