The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

Two Day Charter Results in Two Boards Full of Fish!

On Aug. 4th & 5th, Charles Stratton once again chartered with Milky Way Fishing Charters for 2 full days of fishing. These avid fishermen consisted of Charlie, Charlie, Jr., Hal and Pete and they devoted themselves to catching lots of fish to fill their freezers. On Day 1, the crew caught 12 Lake Trout and 1 Brown Trout. Although no Kings showed up on Day 1, on the 2nd day of fishing, 3 Kings were brought aboard along with 10 Lake Trout! Needless to say, this was a great crew of fishermen with lots of big fish being landed and everyone aboard enjoyed a couple of fun days of fishing on Lake Ontario!

Sunday morning, July 29th, started out with the usual wind and rough seas as of late for the Mackenzie charter. But after a while, the lake calmed down and it made for a much more pleasant day on the water.
