The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

Friday the 13th Turns Into a Lucky Day for Steve Thompson and Grandson, Noah!

Yes, it was Friday the 13th and Steve Thompson and grandson, Noah, chartered with Milky Way Fishing Charters and turned the day into a good luck day for them when it came to catching fish. The lake was choppy in the morning but it turned into a nice day on the lake, weather-wise. The fishing duo were kept busy catching fish with the end result being 6 King Salmon along with 4 Brown Trout in the box! This turned out to be a great day of fishing with an enjoyable and fun time had by all!

Maiden Voyage With Bob Zehr Party Proves to be Successful

Finally, on Wed., June 27th, the Albemarle 280 Express was all equipped and ready to go fishing. The Bob Zehr party, including Bob, Brad and Allen were the ones that got to try out the new "Milky Way".

A Day Fit for Kings!

The Sat., June 23rd charter for the John Reed party fishing with Milky Way Fishing Charters did turn out to be "a day fit for Kings!" The four members of the fishing party were kept busy as they caught 6 out of 9 King Salmon.
