Fishing is Thrice as Nice on Lake Ontario!
Don Hartter and his grandson, Matt decided to give charter fishing a try on Lake Ontario. His 3-day excursion began on Tues., Aug. 4th with Capt. Scott Lennox running the charter for the Milky Way. Although the lake was not on her best behavior during this time, on their first time out, they limited out on the dependable Lake Ontario Lake Trout along with a Brown Trout and Skipper Salmon. For the 2nd day, Aug. 5th, now aboard the Milky Way, Don and Matt limited out on Lake Trout again but also added 2 nice Browns and a King Salmon to their take. On Aug. 6th, the fisherman boarded the Milky Way and once again, got their limit of Lake Trout and a Skipper Salmon. In spite of the not so calm water, Don and Matt were very happy with their first time experience on Lake Ontario and talked about coming back to try their hand at fishing again.
