Backus Party Half-Day Charter Paid Off! With Big King!

On the half day trolling charter with the Adam Backus party on Thurs., Aug. 3rd, the crew decided they wanted to try and catch Kings. They caught 3 nice Lake Trout which the cousins are quite experienced at doing after catching Lake Trout limits while fishing the past two seasons with the Milky Way. This year, Adam, Dave and cousins Andrew and Jackson were hoping catch Kings so the focus was put on the big boys. They did catch a skipper salmon which is a nice sized eating fish and as luck would have it, Jackson landed a 22 lb. King which made the day. So not only are the boys growing bigger each year, but they also got their bigger King Salmon! This was another fun day of fishing watching the cousins return to Lake Ontario to try their luck once again!
