Two-Day Mixed Bag of Weather Produces Nice Bag of Fish!

After working on a 2-day multiple boat charter for Saiff Charters, the fishermen got to experience both the good and bad of Lake Ontario.  Saturday, July 12th, was a beautiful sunny calm day out on the Lake while Sunday, July 13th, served up wind, rain and continuous 4-5 foot waves with 6 footers towards the end of the afternoon.

Regardless of the seas, the fish came aboard the boat.  Saturday's catch included the limit of a nice catch of Lake Trout and Sunday's catch, although limited to trolling along the trench, again produced a limit of Lake Trout along with one Brown Trout.

  • Slow Laker Day Trumped by a King!

    On Wednesday, July 2nd, the Bob Wright party went fishing for Lake Trout.  Although the fishing was slow, they did catch a few nice lakers but what really made the day was the bonus catch of a nice early summer King Salmon.  The July Kings are a thing of beauty and that was the case on this beautiful sunny day out on Lake Ontario after a night of wind and thunderstorms!
