Trophy Lake Trout Weighs in at 24.5 Pounds!

On Thursday, August 20th, the Ben Pate party boarded the Milky Way hoping to catch some big fish. Although, the Kings didn't come, they did catch some big fish!This crew of 6, consisting of Cameron, Justin, John, Bill, Ben and Wesley caught their limit of a dozen trout. John did well hauling in a 19 pounder and thought he had bragging rights, but that was put to rest! Cameron claimed the bragging rights when he landed a 24.5 pound Laker with a little help from Dad, Justin. This fish may be destined to wind up on a wall but it also is the biggest trout taken aboard the Milky Way this fishing season! And Milky Way Charters can brag that once again, it was a very successful and enjoyable day of fishing for everyone!
