The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

Late Season Charter Nets Lake Trout Limit Plus a King Salmon!

On Sunday, September 20th, the Brittany Johnson party chartered with the Milky Way for a half day of fishing. Although the last few trips have been challenging between the winds and the temperatures of the lake water, today proved to be a nice relief. After landing a King in the trench in the morning, the Milky Way headed further out on the lake to try for Lake Trout. This is where the party consisting of Eric, Brittany, Kevin and Rachael hauled in their limit of Lake Trout! Highlights of this trip included Rachel landing a 19-pound lunker Lake Trout and birthday boy, Kevin, catching his birthday present which was a big King Salmon first thing this morning! Happy Birthday, Kevin! A calm, beautiful day out on Lake Ontario, a cooler full of fish, plus an enjoyable fishing crew made this charter trip a great way to end the fishing season!
