The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

Grandfather/Grandson Team Take on Lake Ontario!

Don Hartter and Grandson, Matt, charted the Milky Way for a day and half of fishing on Lake Ontario. Wed., Aug. 3rd turned out to be the best day of the two as Don and Matt caught 8 Lake Trout along with 5 Kings.

One of the King Salmon that Matt hauled in weighed in at 24 1/2 pounds! On the 2nd day, Aug. 4th, Lake Ontario did not cooperate as Don and Matt wanted to try some Walleye fishing but it turned out to be too rough for that. But Don and Matt did catch their limit of Lake Trout in spite of the weather. So, all in all, the 2 days of chartering turned out to be successful aboard the Milky Way!

A Pair of Kings Trump the Day!

On Wednesday, July 20th, Al Montanino returned to Lake Ontario again this year, with his grandson, Johnnie, to fish aboard the Milky Way. The day started out perfectly with the first catch of the day being a big King Salmon by Al's grandson, Johnnie.

Lake Trout Limit Includes 24 lb. Lake Trout!

On Tuesday, July 12th on a hot , hot day on Lake Ontario with the seas starting to build, the Lee Kirkpatrick party had a good day fishing resulting in limiting out on Lake Trout! But the highlight of the day was the 24 1/2 lb. Lake Trout that was hauled aboard by George!
