The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

Fort Drum Soldiers Win the Lake Trout Battle!

Sunday, June 23rd, found these Fort Drum soldiers out on Lake Ontario aboard the Milky Way fishing for Lake Trout with the Jeff Key party. This band of brothers consisting of Matt Ortego'n, Jeff Rigdon, Emmanuel Denis, Travis Zoss, Alex Treshler and Jeff Key had a great day of fishing and limited out on Lake Trout. A beautiful, sunny day out on the lake found these soldiers winning the battle when it came to catching Lake Trout. Not only did they catch the limit, they caught some really big lunkers. Travis Zoss definitely earned bragging rights by landing his 19 pounder! Congratulations to all of these fine fishermen who made it an extremely fun and enjoyable day aboard the Milky Way for everyone involved. Also, Milky Way Fishing Charters wishes to thank each and every one of these men for their service to our country. It is greatly appreciated! Thank you guys!
