The Milky Way is a 28' Albermarle twin engine hardtop with a stand-up head. The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics, fishing gear and U.S.C.G. equipment on board and guided by a U.S.C.G. licensed captain and charter guide with 30+ years of experience!

28 Pound Lake Trout Sets New Record for the Milky Way!

On Tues., July 16th, the Matt Arms party chartered with Milky Way Fishing Charters. These 5 fishermen consisted of Derrick, Matt, Mike, Matt and Billy. Although it was rough out on the lake, these fishermen still had a great day of fishing as they caught 9 Lake Trout along with a nice 20 pound King Salmon! And lately we have been bragging about the big 20+ pound Lake Trout that are being caught but today outdid them all as Matt landed a 28 pound laker which is the largest Lake Trout to ever be caught aboard Milky Way Fishing Charters! So another great day of fishing for everyone aboard the Milky Way and congratulations, Matt, for putting the biggest Lake Trout ever caught with us in the cooler!
